Come in from the cold and warm up with a busy weekend of laughter and song at MainLine Theatre! Come to Crowd Karaoke to sing and laugh, Captain Spaceship to geek out and laugh, Confabulation to share stories and laugh (and cry) and to Bandolier of Dreams for plenty of surprises and laughter and tears caused by laughter.

People don’t sing together anymore. Well, except if you’re in a band, or a church choir. And who even goes to church anymore? It’s a rare thing, to sing with others. Sometimes people will sing together if they’re at a show and a bunch of people know the words. But then, some people just want to hear the band, and not the person beside them. People don’t even sing together at karaoke! There, one person sings at a time, and if people sing together, it’s by accident. Crowd Karaoke was created so that people can sing together unabashed, and dance while they do so. We don't know if the people attending will be good singers, but what we do know for SURE is that singing with other people is incredible fun. A funny thing happens: you feel like you’re all working toward something together.

They could end up anywhere and anyWHEN and will have only their sharp improv skills, some cheap costumes and maybe some lasers to defend themselves.So go where no man (or woman, or alien) has gone before as some of Montreal’s best improvisers (including members of The Big HOO-HAA, Uncalled For and Montreal Improv) plus an interstellar cast of talented guest stars brave the vacuum of space to protect mankind from the unknown…

Confabulation is Montreal's premier, all-true storytelling series. Every month, we bring you six (or so) true-life stories, presented by the people who lived them. For February, that most calculating month, Confabulation is pleased to bring you FOR SCIENCE -- an evening of stories around the theme of science, discovery, breakthrough and genius. Now accepting stories about science gone right, wrong or mad, untrained people pretending to be scientists, and scientists as people -- If you've got a story you feel fits, submit!
