Bassist extraordinaire Eddy Blake will be performing: " Failing - A very difficult piece for solo string bass "
Possibly the most difficult piece ever written for solo bass!

Confabulation: Dedications

Confabulation, Montreal's premier all-true storytelling series, presents a very different kind of true-life stories. For September, Confabulation presents: Dedications -- songs and their stories.
The evening will feature six stories from musicians about their music. Each artist will tell the story of a song -- either the song's inspiration, a story about a performance of that number, or what that song means to the performer -- and perform the piece live.
While the night will be something of a side-step from Confabulation's usual stripped-down style, it will be a unique exploration of art, creativity, and how we tell stories.
