Venez dessiner la superbe Coré Dorofté lors de cette séance inspirée de la vie et et de la mort tragique d'Elizabeth Short, le Dahlia noir. La séance aura lieu le samedi, 4 octobre, de 14:00h à 17:00h au Théâtre MainLine, 3997, boul. St-Laurent. L’entrée sera de 10 $ et n’oubliez pas votre cahier à dessin. De plus, vous aurez la chance d'y gagner une paire de billets pour le Festival Burlesque de Montréal, courtoisie de Scarlett James.

Session #87 - Black Dahlia

Dr. Sketchy Montreal invites you to its next event: Black Dahlia. Come draw the wonderful Coré Dorofté during this session inspired by the life and tragic death of Elizabeth Short, aka the Black Dahlia. The session will take place on Saturday, October 4, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the MainLine Theatre, 3997 St-Laurent Blvd. The cover will be $10 and don’t forget your sketchbook. You will also have the chance to win a pair of tickets to the Montreal Burlesque Festival, courtesy of Scarlett James.

Fun fact: Coré Dorofté has a tattoo of the legendary Black Dahlia! It's up to you to spot it during the event...

La montée en puissance du virus du sida dans les années 80 et le combat d'un écrivain-activiste, Ned Weeks, fondateur d'un groupe d'aide luttant contre la maladie. Le film est adapté de la pièce de Broadway créé par Larry Kramer un activiste gay. La pièce est en quelque sorte auto-biographique.
