Confabulation presents All In the Timing

Confabulation Montreal

Confabulation, Montreal's only monthly true-life storytelling series is excited to again be working with Bouge D'Ici -- Montreal's awesomest dance festival.

This year, we're presenting All in The Timing -- stories on and off cue. Expect true life stories about things just falling into place, out of place, or just all over the place. We want stories of coincidence and luck, good timing and bad timing, right places, wrong places, and just feeling out of step.

Confabulation is a unique storytelling event in Montreal where all the stories are true. They are honest accounts, told without notes, props, or gimmicks. The show is inspired by The Moth, and millennia of oral tradition history, and hopes to encourage the practice and art of storytelling in this contemporary world.

Hosted and produced by local actor and comedian Matt Goldberg, Confabulation brings you a showcase of unique, true tales told live by people.

All kinds of people.
Doctors. Boxers. Students. Grandmas. You.
Anybody.
And hopefully, everybody.

The Montreal Clown Festival is pleased to return to its roots at the home of the St. Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival to present a cabaret of new work, “New Recipes” featuring 12 brave clowns.

Under the direction of Gabe McKinney (Director, Old God; Speigleworld; Dell-Arte graduate and guest teacher), 12 performers developed short new works for the opening night of the 4-day Clown festival after a same-day, high-stakes workshop.

Join us at the first FringeMTL social event of the season. We've collected an exciting selection of prizes! Come out for a drink, enjoy the company of Fringe Friends and help us raise money to present this year's edition of FringeMTL.

What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.
