Soizick Hébert & Frédérick Desroches: The concert of that madcap eccentric Jackie changes direction when the crazy Diva and ukulele player, realised she gets Edgar, as the insipid back up pianist. Edgar is discouraged the way music goes. Jackie uses her mimics, juggling or magic skills to bring the various repertoire, which travel from crooner songs to hip hop dance as well as original pieces, to a parade of brief, funny and punched sketches to perturb him. The hectic and tense ambiance between Jackie & Edgar brings hilarity all the way through the show. Avec/with: Soizick Hébert, Frédérick Desroches.

La Porte Française: "The idea for La Porte Française came to me a few years ago, when I first started to clown. The story's well known in my inner circle, but I guess that it'd be only fair to share it with you as well. I took part in a silent ten day meditation Vipassana retreat. This is now
about two years ago. While there, you are asked to remain completely silent, and not read or write anything. You become disconnected from
stimuli, and you then learn a meditation technique that helps you focus your mind. The room in which I was staying had a private
bathroom, and I spent some time there looking at the mirror and making faces. I reconnected with the pleasure of making funny faces, of
playing characters, of distorting my image. After leaving the retreat, I took part in various workshops, around clowning, mime, improv. I
noted a few songs that gave me shivers, and took down a number of images that I heard about or that came out of nowhere: 500 Chinese
sculptures, knife storms, Saddam Hussein. I am very happy to perform this act's premiere before you. This is also my first solo act. Please
don't feel like you need to be encouraging because of this. I can take your applause as well as your tomatoes. What do I have to lose? Worst
case, I can make pasta sauce out of the criticism. I prefer applause though. As wild as you can give it to me. Avec/with: Greg Sadetsky
