Arj Barker is an American stand-up comedian who is also popular in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia, where his tour has sold out multiple times. He is known for playing Dave in the HBO hit sitcom, Flight of the Conchords. Arj is also the co-creator of the Off-Broadway comedy show, Marijuana-logues, a parody of The Vagina Monologues. He has made appearances on David Letterman, The Tonight show, Bill Maher’s HBO show, and Last Comic Standing. He is the winner of the prestigious Perrier award for best newcomer at Edinburgh. His Youtube clips have generated millions of views.

The Montreal Clown Festival is pleased to return to its roots at the home of the St. Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival to present a cabaret of new work, “New Recipes” featuring 12 brave clowns.

Under the direction of Gabe McKinney (Director, Old God; Speigleworld; Dell-Arte graduate and guest teacher), 12 performers developed short new works for the opening night of the 4-day Clown festival after a same-day, high-stakes workshop.
