The Bizarre GalerieFRINGE Holiday Bazaar

Festival St-Ambroise FRINGE Montréal

Company website

For the first time this December at MainLine Theatre, the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival presents a very special 3rd installment of its annual summertime event GalerieFRINGE. What is so special about it, you may ask? Well, for starters, December is not the summer, duh! Also, December is that very joyous time of year where everyone scrambles around hunting for unique gifts to show their loved ones how much they mean to them. In light of that, GalerieFRINGE has invited local merchants and crafts-(wo)men to set up shop and sell their swag throughout the exposition.

Not only is this GalerieFRINGE’s first time in December, it is also our first time using a non-traditional gallery venue. Be sure to pass by to see how MainLine Theatre becomes the news avant-garde exposition space.

Some things remain the same: FRINGE rules apply! Everything included, nothing excluded. GalerieFRINGE is completely UNcurated, untouched by artistic direction and censorship. Submissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Awesome right!? But wait, there is more!

Tristan Brand will be in house waiting to take holiday portraits in your most cherished holiday sweater. Prints will be available on the spot for a small fee.

12:00 - The exposition and bazaar continuing throughout the day

17:00 - Tristan’s horrendously, hideous, holiday sweater Portrait Studio

17:30 – Vernissage, artists participating in this event will be present and happy to
discuss their work

Most the pieces on display in the exposition are for sale at a very reasonable price.

Please dress appropriately – Gaudy holiday attire encouraged.
