COVID-19 Statement from MainLine Theatre

MainLine Theatre’s number one priority is the safety, health, and well-being of our artists, patrons, staff and volunteers. We want to encourage our community to make informed decisions about participating in our theatre’s activities amid the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We are consulting with health officials and are monitoring this ongoing situation.
The following actions have been taken:
- Increased cleaning and disinfection of our spaces.
- Consultation with presenting companies.
- Allowing staff to work from home.
- Posted signage to help inform artists/patrons.
- Additional hand sanitizers are available.
At this time, we have decided to not cancel performances of Before It's Too Late by The Opportunity Theatre Company and Simulation Theory by Scream Dance Project/Lynsey Billing Productions in our spaces this weekend.
Le Lab by Tribal Momentum and ML Workshop: Fundraising with Amy Blackmore are postponed until further notice.
Players' Presents: The 2020 McGill Drama Festival! and the Inertia Modern Dance Collective performances are cancelled.
We are offering refunds to patrons. If you are unwell, have flu-like symptoms or have recently travelled out of the country, we encourage you not to attend. We would like to encourage you to consider donating your ticket money to the presenting artists if you are not attending by not requesting a refund.

Théâtre MainLine et COVID-19
La priorité numéro un du Théâtre MainLine est la sécurité, la santé et le bien-être de nos artistes, spectateurs, employés et bénévoles. Nous voulons encourager notre communauté à prendre des décisions éclairées quant à la participation aux activités de notre théâtre dans le contexte du coronavirus (COVID-19). Nous consultons les responsables de la santé et surveillons cette situation en cours à mesure qu'elle continue d'évoluer.

- Consultation avec les compagnies présentant des spectacles
- Permettre au personnel de travailler à domicile.
- Affiches placées dans l'espace pour informer les artistes / spectateurs.
- Des désinfectants pour les mains supplémentaires sont disponibles.
En ce moment, nous avons décidé de ne pas annuler les représentations dans nos espaces pour la fin de semaine. Cependant, nous offrons des remboursements aux clients qui souhaitent ne pas y assister. Si vous ne vous sentez pas bien, avez des symptômes ou avez récemment voyagé hors du pays, nous vous encourageons à ne pas y assister.
