Kicking off at MainLine Theatre... drinks, games and the inevitable annual PIN᷉ATA BUSTING are just a few of the tempting reasons to come along on the 'quatro de mayo' for a night where a dance party is surely imminent.
If it’s your first time at FRINGE, this is the party where you’ll meet and get to know other volunteers, artists and staff (both veterans and newbies) in the big kick-off for our volunteer season for FRINGE. It’s not to be missed!

Si c'est votre premier FRINGE, le Quatro de Mayo est la fête où vous allez rencontrer des autres bénévoles, des artistes et l'équipe du festival (ancien-ne-s et nouveaux-elles) lors de la fête d’ouverture de la saison de bénévoles au FRINGE! À ne pas manquer!

What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.
Confabulation -- Montreal's long-running, true-life storytelling series is back with another night of stories, true as we can tell them. This month -- we're previewing some of the great storytellers performing at this year's St. Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival! Come for a sneak peak of this summer's amazing solo shows.

This game show is played a lot like strip poker, but it's a spelling bee, and it's played in front of a live audience of hooters, hollerers and hecklers who want to see some smart and sexy skin!
