Smut Slam V: Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda

Cameryn Moore + MainLine Theatre

Company website

You know what a poetry slam is, and maybe you know about story slams, too. Now it’s time for round
5 of Montreal’s SMUT SLAM, a fast-paced night of storytelling based on real life, real lust, real sex.
The next SMUT SLAM is on Wednesday, February 27, starting at 20:00 at Mainline Theatre, 3997 boul.
St-Laurent. The theme for this SMUT SLAM is “COULDA, SHOULDA, WOULDA” (crossed wires,
missed connections, and other stories of almost-sex).

SMUT SLAMMERS sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute piece of smut/sex/erotica, based on their
real lives and ideally relating to the theme of “COULDA, SHOULDA, WOULDA” (almost-sex stories),
and a lucky eight to ten names will be drawn at random. There will be a team of five judges - interested
amateurs, storytellers, theater people, writers, and anyone who loves sex stories.

NOT A SMUT SLAMMER? Don’t worry. The audience is in for a good time at SMUT SLAM! Sit back
and enjoy. All we ask is: - No interrupting. - No heckling. - No necking.

Doors open at 19:30, and the smut starts slamming at 20:00. Admission is only $10 at the door; 18 and
over please! For details, visit www.camerynmoore.com

This edition of the SMUT SLAM is being co-hosted by Kym Dominique-Ferguson, spoken-word
artist and director of Montréal’s Madpoetix, and Cameryn Moore, a sex activist, phone sex operator,
and award-winning playwright/performer who is the first foreign artist-in-residence at Mainline Theatre
during its 2012-2013 season. Cameryn’s newest solo show, Release, will be staged at Mainline in April
2013. Cameryn writes creating A/broad, a weekly column for Montreal’s Charlebois Post, and Sidewalk

WARNING: There may be nudity in this show.

This game show is played a lot like strip poker, but it's a spelling bee, and it's played in front of a live audience of hooters, hollerers and hecklers who want to see some smart and sexy skin!

Director: Joe Catman

Co-host: La Regulatrice

From Montreal, QC

Told in the style of Fleabag with an early 2000’s pop-punk soundtrack, this award-winning playwright’s one-woman comedy follows party-girl Candace as she runs away to Mexico for her best friend's destination wedding. A karaoke bar, dead goldfish, and a spirited adventure. You won't have regrets... but Candace might.
