Developed in Spring 2012, BATTLEWAR is a series of professional wrestling events focused on delivering an exciting brand of live action to the ticket holders. With a variety of talent, styles and characters, BATTLEWAR is a unique concept pitting only the best against the best in the squared circle.
On Saturday, November 3, we are extremely excited to make our debut at the MainLine Theatre! To make the evening even more special, we are proud to present an old fashioned TAG TEAM WRESTLING TOURNAMENT! Only the strong will survive!

3x JFL Award-winner Al Lafrance returns with a new show, featuring tales allegedly involving missed connections, re-imagined junk mail, human-flavoured burritos, loneliness, and lies. Oops, did I say lies? I meant truths. Yep. For sure.
What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.
For one night only (well, technically six,) drag king Kris Ma’cheque is headlining his very own cabaret! And he promises it’ll be a good one. No matter what. Featuring a new act every show, Personal Best is a funny, moving, unpredictable journey into one performer’s desire to make the grade.
