God Is A Scottish Drag Queen

Mike Delamont

Company website

The critically acclaimed fringe sensation returns to Montreal after sold-out runs in Victoria, Vancouver, and Edmonton. Based on the character created by comedian Mike Delamont and 2012 Dora Award winning writer Jacob Richmond (Ride The Cyclone) God is a deity like you have never seen before. Sporting a 80's floral power suit, god skewers everything from Justin Bieber to the Pope! One of the top attended shows of the 2012 Montreal Fringe Festival.

“Laugh out loud funny” Concordia Link,
“The best show I have seen at the fringe... A must see!” Bloody Underrated,
“Hilarious... Divinely and wickedly funny” Montreal Gazette.

Triple-packs are available if you'd like to see all three shows (God is a Scottish Drag Queen, God is a Scottish Drag Queen: The Second Coming, Husky Panda) by Mike Delamont in a single sitting. 3x JFL Award-winner Al Lafrance returns with a new show, featuring tales allegedly involving missed connections, re-imagined junk mail, human-flavoured burritos, loneliness, and lies. Oops, did I say lies? I meant truths. Yep. For sure.

INSIDE MADPOETIX STUDIO is revolutionizing our Soirées Intimes Series by allowing the audience to get to know the feature performer through an interview during the show live. The artist will be interviewed by our host Kym Dominique Ferguson @Mrkdferguson. This is a one of a kind experience. There will be 8 Open Mic spots available for all genres: spoken word, poetry, comedy, singers, clowns, dancers, you name it we welcome it. They are each given a 5 min timeslot.
