Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead

Chocolate Moose Theatre Company

Tom Stoppard's 1966 classic consists of Shakespeare's immortal classic Hamlet, retold from the perspective of his two doomed university friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. It is at once a playful comedy of language and a haunting meditation on free will, chance, art and death.

Come and see the absurd, the existential, the tragedy, the comedy, the melo, and the drama of Tom Stoppard's award-winning play "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead".

What is it all about?

The play explores the lives of two minor characters from Shakespeare's "Hamlet", the courtiers Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. Between episodes of "Hamlet", the two tangentially and verbosely discuss their confusion regarding the events occurring "onstage" around them.
