A Jewish legal aid lawyer has been assigned to defend a neo-Nazi Skinhead who has been accused of the heinous racially motivated murder of an East Indian immigrant in this unblinking examination of hatred, the explosive effect it has on our society, and the hurdles that confront us as we set about eradicating it.

The Toronto Star "Explosive new drama... a provocative exploration of the inescapable and insidious presence of hatred in our society."

The Globe & Mail, Toronto "poignantly lyrical monologues... terror and insight... dark comedy and swift horror... larger thematic goals that make “Cherry Docs” impressive... Gow's belief that we must confront the hatred within ourselves and our society are troubling, touching and convincing.

*Thursday, Sept. 29th and Wednesday, Oct. 5th will both have a brief talk back session with the Director and Cast following the performance.

What if you entered an empty rehearsal hall and suddenly an audience appears? Joseph Ste-Marie brings his experimental scripted/improvised one-man show, This Show is Broken back to the stage! This remount blends the 2021 Digital Theatre production from the Montreal FRINGE Festival and the original 2015 production at the 2nd annual Shortstanding Festival. Ste-Marie must perform his show as he explores his life, struggles, missteps, and tries to show that it’s not too late to pursue your dreams…. However, Joseph is challenged to be honest with himself so his show can be authentic as possible without being blinded by ambition.

Meltdowns, diagrams, textures, vampires... what is it like to be autistic? And is it possible to convey that experience to others? There's only one way to find out: by trying, for better or for worse.

For one night only (well, technically six,) drag king Kris Ma’cheque is headlining his very own cabaret! And he promises it’ll be a good one. No matter what. Featuring a new act every show, Personal Best is a funny, moving, unpredictable journey into one performer’s desire to make the grade.
