Hot patootie, bless my soul!
I must confess, I spent more of my early adolesence then I care to admit, sitting in different rep theatres on Saturday nights yelling clever retorts to hapless hunchbacks, sweet transvestites and neckless narrators. 30 years after I first pelted people with rice and toast at the Seville theatre, I finally have the pleasure of co-producing the live stage version of the ultimate cult classic and I am simply shivering with ANTICI....

Dans mon adolescence, je doit avouer que j'ai passé beaucoup, peut-être même trop de soirées dans des différent théâtres de répertoire, and criant des répliques ridicules à des bossus bizarres, des jolies travestis, et des narrateurs sans cou. 30 and après la première fois que j'ai lancé du rix et des toasts au Théâtre Seville, j'ai finalement le plaisir de co-réaliser la version live de ce classique à titre culte incroyable...

In 2010 MainLine Theatre converted our rehearsal space into the much lauded Mini-Main. To pay for the upgrade, we sold name plaques on seats for 50$ each. Last year, when MainLine Theatre needed new heating, we raised the money by selling names plaques on seats in the Main Space for 100$. This year, after exhaustive audience research, we have come to realize that what MainLine desperately needs most, and I am sure you will all agree, is an upgrade to our bathrooms.
Yes that's right folks, after years of living in denial about the state of our bathrooms even I can't take it anymore. Our goal this year is to raise 5000$ to fix up the john and we need your help to do it. Your 50$ donation will get you a name plaque in the Mini Main. 100$ will get you a name plaque in the Main Space and a 250$ donation will get your name plaque memorialized on the best seat in the house. For 1000$ you can have a whole stall named after yourself.

En 2010, le Théâtre MainLine a convertit sa salle de répétition en salle complète,désormais nommée la "Mini-Main". Pour couvrir les coûts, on a vendu des plaques qu'on a placé sur les sièges, pur 50$ chaque. L'année passée, quand on a eu besoin d'acheter un nouveau système de chauffage, on a vendu des plaques sur le sièges de la salle principale pour 100$ chaque. Cette année, après des recherches incroyables, on a découvert que (et je suis certain que vous êtes d'accord) notre salle de bains fait pitié.
Eh oui, après des années passées dans le déni au sujet de nos toilettes, j'en suis plus capable. Notre but cette année est de lever 3000$ pour réparer les toilettes, et on a besoin de votre aide. Pour un don de 50$, votre nom se retrouvera sur un siège de la Mini-Main. Pour un don de 100$, sur un siège dans la salle principale. Un don de 250$ vous donnera une plaque à placer sur le meilleur siège dans la place! Pour 1000$, on renomme une cabine de la salle de bain en votre honneur.

** GalerieFRINGE!

Le Festival St-Ambroise FRINGE Montréal vous invite à participer à notre troisième édition de GalerieFRINGE. L’énorme succès et les nombreux commentaires positifs des deux dernières années nous ont encouragé à continuer de développer ce projet pour faire en sorte que le FRINGE laisse son empreinte dans la communauté des arts visuels à Montréal! Le vernissage sera le dimanche 9 décembre 2012 de 17 h à 21 h au Théâtre MainLine (3997 St-Laurent). L’exposition sera ouverte dès midi le 9 décembre. En après-midi, il y aura un bazaar dans l’espace, où des artistes et marchands locauz pourront vendre leurs biens, juste à temps pour la saison estivale! The St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival invites you to be a part of the 3rd edition of GalerieFRINGE. The FRINGE continues to make its mark on theMontreal visual arts scene and is looking for artists to submit their work for this holiday themed event. The vernissage will be held Sunday, December 9th, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm at MainLine Theatre (3997 St-Laurent). The exhibit will be open as of 12:00 on December 9th. During this time there will also be an afternoon bazaar, where artists and local vendors will have the opportunity to sell their goods just in time for the holiday season. If you are interested in renting a table for the bazaar, please contact us for more information.

Le Festival FRINGE de Montréal est une célébration internationale des arts multidisciplinaires qui encourage la créativité sans limites tels le théâtre, la comédie, la musique, la danse, la poésie et plus, provenant de plus de 500 artistes. Plus do 60,000 personnes ont visité ce festival bilingue en 2012, assistant à des spectacles créés par des artistes venant des quatres coins du monde.
