Happy Spring Everyone!

There is so much going on at MainLine this week, we know you will have a hard time staying away! Not only do we have the grand return of MAP Project happening tonight, but we've got a special edition of Captain Spaceship on Friday
(with opening act Flapjack Cadillac, which features our GM Al Lafrance and our Volunteer Coordinator Jo Willers), a rare male-model edition of Dr. Sketchy on Saturday afternoon, followed by the 3-year anniversary edition of Confabulation, and then our QUATRO DE MAYO VOLUNTEER PARTY on Saturday night at 10:30! Drinks, games, and piñata-destruction awaits.
Y'a tout plein de choses chez MainLine en fin de semaine! Ce soir, on a le grand retour du MAP Project, et puis vendredi une édition spéciale de Captain Spaceship avec Flapjack Cadillac en première (mettant en vedette notre directeur administratif, Al Lafrance et notre coordonatrice des bénévoles Jo Willers). Ensuite, Samedi, une rare édition de Dr.Sketchy avec modèle masculin, suivi du 3ièeme anniversaire de Confabulation, et enfin notre PARTY QUATRO DE MAYO samedi soir à 22:30! Des drinks, des jeux, une pinta qui va pas survivre la soirée...ça va être fou!

Come one, come all to our opening Volunteer Party of the 2013 FRINGE Season!
Kicking off at MainLine Theatre... drinks, games and the inevitable annual PIN᷉ATA BUSTING are just a few of the tempting reasons to come along on the 'quatro de mayo' for a night where a dance party is surely imminent.
If it’s your first time at FRINGE, this is the party where you’ll meet and get to know other volunteers, artists and staff (both veterans and newbies) in the big kick-off for our volunteer season for FRINGE. It’s not to be missed!

Si c'est votre premier FRINGE, le Quatro de Mayo est la fête où vous allez rencontrer des autres bénévoles, des artistes et l'équipe du festival (ancien-ne-s et nouveaux-elles) lors de la fête d’ouverture de la saison de bénévoles au FRINGE! À ne pas manquer!

Join Captain Spaceship and his crew of intergalactic riff-raff as they travel through time and space exploring the cosmos, discovering new unchartered worlds and narrowly avoid copyright infringement.
Inspired by 1950’s Sci-fi serials, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Firefly, Red Dwarf and 90210; The Captain and his crew will make up their ongoing epic adventures live onstage aided by the audience’s suggestions. They could end up anywhere and anyWHEN and will have only their sharp improv skills, some cheap costumes and maybe some lasers to defend themselves.

Dr. Sketchy Montréal vous invite à son prochain événement : Provocatores. Venez dessiner le magnifique Spartacus qui nous fera revisiter l'époque du Colisée et des gladiateurs!
La séance aura lieu le samedi, 4 mai, de 14:00h à 17:00h au Théâtre MainLine, 3997, boul. St-Laurent. L’entrée sera de 10 $ et n’oubliez pas votre cahier à dessin.
Fait intéressant : En plus d'être modèle, Spartacus a aussi étudié dans les arts!

Dr. Sketchy Montreal invites you to its next event: Provocatores. Come draw the amazing Spartacus as he takes us back to the era of the Coliseum and of gladitors!
The session will take place on Saturday, May 4, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the MainLine Theatre, 3997 St-Laurent Blvd. The cover will be $10 and don’t forget your sketchbook.
Fun fact: Besides being a model, Spartacus also studied in arts!
